Study on Deep Tech in Latin America presents alternatives to boost the sector

The webinar will present the Portuguese version of the first report on DeepTech in Latin America, organised by the Latin American Dynamism Project. This regional institution promotes the development of frontier technologies, connecting science, innovation and funding.

The study mapped more than 2,500 startups and identifies critical funding gaps, especially in Series B rounds, as well as structural barriers to commercialisation. The report presents 15 practical recommendations to position the region as a competitive global Deep Tech hub, with an emphasis on the Brazilian reality.

The agenda includes a welcome (5 min), main conclusions (10 min in English), an expert panel (35 min in Portuguese) and questions (10 min).

Taking part will be Claudio Cifuentes (LADP), Adriana de Faria (Anprotec), Felipe Belucci (MCTI), André França (CNI), Adilson Silva (N7 Ventures) and Sandra Sinicco and Henry Suzuki (Tech Brazil Advocates).
